Unique Skins Giveaway
Guess what? I have three $15 gift cards for lucky winners to do some online shopping to personalize their electronic look. I chose my cell phone to redesign, but there are many other options from lap tops to game consoles.
Interested? All you have to do is browse around Unique Skins and tell me what device you would most like to redesign. You get extra points if you share a link back to this giveaway. Comments will close on Tuesday September 16th at midnight and three winners will be picked randomly on Wednesday September 17th.
I do want to make some suggestions though to optimize the quality of the skin you design. A few things I learned:
1) Don’t use thin text or designs (like part of the swirl on my cell phone above), it gets printed pixely. Make sure fonts or graphics are big and thick for it to look the best.
2) Use high quality photos. The best looking part of my design were those flowers above. Pictures really do make the best design and how much more personal can you get than with your own photos? Show them off!
3) Keep it simple. Too much “stuff” on it looks cluttered.

I would have to say either my Wii or my laptop. It is a HP so it would be fun to make a skin with my kid’s picture on it.

I would like to make a skin for my ipod mini. I’m so tired of the way it looks plus it’s all scratchy now. It needs a facelift!

I would love to put a skin on my phone. It’s been pretty badly abused over the last couple of years but it will be a while before I can afford a new one. Student + marrying a deployed marine doesn’t really equal a new phone every year, so it needs to last. I was interested in doing my computer as well but it’s old enough that they don’t have a skin for the model I have.

I’d love to redo my phone. It’s not looking the best as many times my 2 year old has dropped it. I’m also going back to work starting next week,after being a SAHM for the past 4.5 years,and I’d love to redo the phone with a skin of my kids pictures on it.

I’d love to spiff up my laptop. I use it all the time for school work and think it would be nice to include photos of my (huge) family on the computer cover. Maybe make studying more appealing?? We can only hope…
